A wonderful few days all round!

It’s been a busy and exciting time here at Snelsmore!

We’re delighted to have welcomed our second foal of the season. It’s been a little while between arrivals, so it’s wonderful that Snelsmore Nymph’s black colt now has a playmate. Snelsmore Oasis has safely delivered a beautiful bay filly, both doing brilliantly. We will update our foal page soon.

As tradition goes, this year’s names begin with the letter “D”, so we’d love to hear your suggestions!

We’ve also had Snelsmore Zac, Snelsmore Zodiac and Snelsmore Zues voluntary vetted, and we’re very pleased to share that they have all passed (subject to DNA parentage confirmation). These boys have been carefully and patiently produced over the past few years, with great show results and all have SA clear status. They will be added to our stallion and for sale page and looking for new homes to continue their careers as show ponies or breeding stallions—please message us for more information.

At the weekend, with no imminent foaling’s expected, we headed to Onley Showground for the Imperial Gala Show with Snelsmore Venus and Snelsmore Blossom. It was a fun and successful day, Venus took the Miniature Championship, while Blossom having her first show of the year was awarded Reserve Miniature Champion.

We stayed on for the evening performance, where Venus went on to become Reserve Supreme Heavyweight Champion, a lovely result and a great experience for Blossom!

The journey home was a long one with a couple of road closures, but we finally made it back and into bed by midnight!
