Exciting news from Snelsmore!
We are delighted that Snelsmore Orchid has tested clear for Skeleton Atavism (SA).
With all of our stallions already tested clear, the focus now turns to testing the mares and, importantly, their offspring. Where we have stock by our clear stallions, we can also establish their SA status through parentage — giving us two results for the price of one!
We’re especially pleased to share that Orchid is the dam of the lovely piebald colt, Snelsmore Domino. As Orchid has tested clear and Domino is by one of our SA-clear stallions, his parentage means that he is clear by parentage too. What a fantastic bonus!
It’s another positive step forward for the Snelsmore breeding programme, giving us greater confidence in the health and future of our breeding stock.
And, of course, we’re very excited about the bright future ahead for Snelsmore Domino.
