I can’t believe it was four years ago that Snelsmore Nathaniel was born; it only seen like yesterday. I remember Victoria giving birth to a strong, rather hairy little piebald colt, full of energy and life. His cord hadn’t broken so the afterbirth was still attached but it didn’t really seem to bother him and as soon as I could free him of it, he was off and running, with just a slight glance back as if to say ‘thank you’,
Now he is all grown up and a licensed stallion in England and Germany. His first foal was born here at Snelsmore last year, a gorgeous coloured filly called Snelsmore Quincy. She was very quickly snapped up and found a new home in Hungary. It wasn’t long after we sold Nathaniel to his new home with Sabrina in Germany and he is now doing us proud in Europe. This year I was delighted to hear that he has now sired a beautiful colt foal in Germany too; what a well-travelled family he is creating! With his whole life ahead of him we hope he will continue to sire many more foals and we wish Sabrina good luck in the future with this special little pony.
