It may not have been the weather we ordered, but the Bucks County Show certainly turned out to be a day to remember!

After an early 4.00am start in the rain and still in my PJs, I had a feeling the day could only get better. Thankfully, the sunshine did eventually make an appearance!

Snelsmore Blossom absolutely loves showing, whatever the weather. She was reunited with Sallye and went on to take Reserve Miniature Champion, with Snelsmore Venus and I taking the Miniature Championship.

Once the morning showing was finished, the sun finally came out, just in time for a well-earned cup of tea before we headed into the Supreme classes.

Venus went on to be Reserve M&M Small Breed Champion, followed by a wonderful opportunity to take a spin around the Main Ring in the Price Family In-hand Supreme.

Being able to represent the Shetland breed in the Main Ring was special, and we couldn’t be more proud of our ponies and everything they achieved.

It was a long day, but one filled with fantastic results, special moments.
