Christmas celebrations at Snelsmore are very simple, work goes on very much like normal. With the animals all comfortable for a few hours, we light the log fire warming ourselves and the home, turn up the Christmas carols and settle down to hand out gifts, and this year we did something a bit different, we zoomed absent family and friends to join us. With the excitement over we enjoy our festive lunch, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding covered in brandy butter. We raise a glass or two of bubbly to what’s lays ahead of us for the following year. Hopefully no foaling mishaps and lots of healthily foals bouncing around the fields.
