Its always been a early four o’clock start for the long journey to East Sussex for the Heathfield show. I also can’t remember a show at Heathfield when it hasn’t rain as well. All prepared for rain and long walk to the ring, we started our day. Our judge Mrs V Hampton had a tough time ahead of her with some lovely ponies to judge on Heathfield’s sloping ring, eventually the sun came out and we received three wins and two Championships. A first place for Snelsmore Lalique, Merrylees Nuggett Best Miniature and Overall Shetland Champion. Snelsmore Sundance only having his second outing took the Overall Junior Championship and Reserve Reserve Shetland Champion. Worth all the effort and soaking.
