North Somerset Agricultural Show: Heavy rain and thunder couldn’t dampen our spirits

Foaling been going full steam ahead here at Snelsmore six healthy foals now, so a nice day out showing our ponies at North Somerset show was a real treat. Really pleased with all our ponies, Snelsmore Tequila Sunrise our yearling filly found the agricultural show atmosphere a bit unsettling, like most of the other yearlings it was a big ask but she still managed a good second place. Snelsmore Sundance on the other hand loved the crowds and big ring he really strutted his stuff to win the two & three-year class, Miniature and overall Junior champion. So pleased he now has a little sister, Kirkstall Acacia first ever filly, definitely a keeper. Snelsmore Querl and Snelsmore Pavarotti finished the Miniature classes with a win for Querl and third place for Pavarotti. Querl went on to be senior Miniature Champion and Reserve Supreme under Miss C Seipp. We were very lucky to finished performing just before a heavy thunder storm but still managed to get a soaking walking around the show later.
