Ugenie is a skewbald filly with a small amount of white, born on the 7th of May 2017 by Kington Zazarac out of Shallowater Cornish Summer Time.
After a long day of showing we arrived home to find a foal born, that was no great surprise, but to a black mare now that was a surprise. I was some what puzzled I jumped out of the lorry to investigate. “I didn’t have a black mare expecting a foal,” I kept mumbling to myself as I approached the herd. It all soon became obvious, Summer had foaled, naughty Nymph had kidnapped her daughter and seemed very pleased with her self. Poor Summer! was just waiting patiently for someone to release her foal from Nymph. With the mystery over, mother and daughter were reunited in a cosy stable were Summer took over the motherly duties and naughty Nymph was sent packing she will have to wait until next year for own baby.
