Za Za Rac is a 31.5″ deep liver chestnut stallion Registration No. AF0012/S98-010. He was born on the 12th of May 1995 by Fairy Cocktail out of Birling Nyala.

Za Za Rac came to Snelsmore as a foal, purchased from his breeder Mrs J. Secombe. A wild, unhandled little chestnut colt, Cliff knew from the moment he set eyes on him that he was coming home with us.

True to his cocktail-inspired name, Za Za Rac was full of spirit, presence, and character. He possessed that special wow factor which set him apart and which he consistently passed on to his stock. With numerous show wins to his name, he went on to sire many show champions, cementing his reputation as an exceptional stallion.

Za Za Rac was a vital part of our stud and the foundation stallion of Snelsmore. Although he was sadly lost in 2023 and is deeply missed, his legacy lives on through the ninety-eight foals he sired during his lifetime, whose success continues to reflect his lasting influence.
