It was one of those stormy night with gale force winds when your pleased to be tucked up in a cosy bed. In the calm of the next morning, I woke to find fences blown down and a upturned gazebo in the paddock near the house. That no great surprise with the winds we had. What I hadn’t expected was a little foal bouncing about, totally unaware of the danger he might have been in. First time mum Oceano decided to give birth a several weeks early, not her best timing, but thankfully they were both fine. She’s been a great mum to this cheeky little chestnut colt, we are looking forward to watching him mature at the stud.
