It was the morning of Devon County show and the alarm was set at two-thirty and it seemed to ring louder than normal, it was time to get up. Having put the kettle on to boil still sleepy eyed and in my pyjamas, I wondered off to the fields to check the mares before I drank my much needed cup of tea. I couldn’t believe my luck Mystique had just deliver bay filly by Jasper. It was perfect timing, both mother and daughter were both doing well and safely tucked into their cosy warm stable before we left for the long journey to the show.
We choose the name Ulyana for this little ball of fluff, meaning youthful and downy.
