Xylina is a silver dun and white filly SPSBS registration no BH0823, born on the 16th of August 2020 by Merrylees Nuggett out of Snelsmore Quedesha.
Foaling at Snelsmore for 2020 all finished now, with the late arrival of our last foal. What a lovely way to end it!!!!! Although only a six year old we had been struggling to get Snelsmore Quedesha in foal, so decided Merrylees Nuggett and Quedesha could winter together in the hope they would fall in love and produce the goods natures way. Well it worked and what an outcome a silver dun filly couldn’t be more pleased. Mother and baby are both doing well after a little bit of a difficult foaling, Quedesha is a great mum taking it all in her stride.
We have name our new filly Xylina a girls name of Greek origin meaning “Woodland” or “Wood-dweller”
