Satchmo is a 30″ piebald TT stallion registration no AM0334/S04-029. He was born on the 21st of April 2001 by South sands Airbourne out of Strathlene Kit-Kat

As soon as Cliff and I saw this striking piebald colt foal at Reading Sales, we knew he would be a wonderful addition to our stud and he never disappointed. Satchmo has gone on to sire numerous champions both here and overseas, firmly establishing his reputation as an exceptional stallion.

He has played a significant role in our breeding programme, having been the sire of fifty eight foals at Snelsmore. He consistently produced progeny of lovely type with excellent movement, correct conformation, and the same big personality that makes Satchmo so special. His influence on our stud is undeniable, and he truly deserves his place on our legacy page.

We are immensely proud that Satchmo was awarded Leading Sire in the SPSBS National Awards Scheme 2016, a fitting recognition of his outstanding contribution to the breed.
