Jasper is a 33″ dark bay & white stallion, Registration No. AS2707/S10. He was born on April 29th 2006 by Merrylees Satchmo out of Newton Silver Girl
From his very first appearance in the show ring, Snelsmore Jasper proved he was something truly special. In 2006 at the Southern Shetland Pony Group Show, he made an unforgettable debut, winning the Foal Class, Junior Championship and going on to be the Reserve Senior Champion. An exceptional start that marked him out as a natural star. That day Jasper loved every minute in the ring and had a presence that was impossible to ignore. His charisma, enthusiasm, ensured he always stood out, famously wearing his handler, Cliff, completely out along the way.
He was my absolute pride and joy, and losing him left us all broken-hearted. Following a sudden but short illness, we were faced with the hardest of goodbyes far too soon. It was still early days for Jasper as a stallion, yet we are immensely proud to have some of his stock here at Snelsmore, living reminders of a very special pony who will never be forgotten.
