Quail is a 31″ dark bay & white mare, SPSBS registration no. BB0035 she was born on May 13th 2013 by Snelsmore Jasper out of  Snelsmore Ilianna 

We were delighted to welcome Snelsmore Quail back to the stud. Originally sold as a foal, Quail has now returned to us and has matured into a lovely mare with an exceptional temperament.

A full sister to the successful gelding Snelsmore Oberon, we are excited to have her back and hopeful that she may follow in her brother’s footsteps.

At the FUSS Show, 2026 Quail attending only her third outing and her very first indoor show. Despite her limited experience, this lovely mare took everything in her stride and behaved impeccably throughout.

Kind, quiet, and eager to please, Quail would make a wonderful sensible pony for a young handler, while also continuing to excel in her role as a broodmare.

Quail has been covered by Snelsmore Spectre and is due to produce a 2027 foal.
