Lacarno is half-brother to Snelsmore Calipso both out of the Croft Bluebell.
In 1995 we answered an advert in the local paper and brought Croft Bluebell a bay and white yearling filly by Taffgarn Raffia out of North-Wells Buddleia. Bluebell was an ugly duckling, but we saw some potential. As we had hoped she grew into a beautiful swan and a wonderful broodmare, producing eight offspring for our stud. She is now retired at the grand old age of thirty-two and living the life of luxury with Linda on the Isle of Wight. Leaving her sons and daughters to keep her pedigree going. I think they are all doing her proud!!
