The British National Foal Show: My lucky Shamrock.

The British National Foal Show was the last show of the season for us and our bay colt Snelsmore Shamrock brought it to a close by received a second place in a strong colt foal class. It’s so amazing to see the foals being born, watching them grow up into little personalities during the summer and work with them towards their first show. So proud of all our foals they behaved so well, making all the hard work walking them for around the farm for the last few months and giving them their first bath so rewarding. It’s amazing how far these foals have come, they have learnt so much recently. Walking up and down the lorry and performing in the ring like little professionals. Sadly not my babies any more. I think it’s time for these to have a little break now to think about their experience and its time for me to start working on some more of our babies. Work on the farm is never ending winter is a time for feeding our stock but it won’t be long before the cycle starts again can’t wait to meet our 2016 foals.
