Shetland Pony Stud Book Society Breed Show 2025. Such a wonderful show. The venue was excellent, with a warm atmosphere and so many smiling faces.After missing last year’s breed show, this year’s event was extra special for us. Only last year I was struggling to walk, let alone run, and it felt impossible to imagine being back in the ring with my beloved ponies. But they gave me the hope I needed and yesterday turned into one of those unforgettable days filled with emotion and tears of happiness that made every effort worth while. Oxgang Ferando was a star, winning the Miniature Stallion class, Senior Champion, and Overall Miniature ring Champion. Winning the Park View Trophy, the Ebony Trophy, and the Society Bronze Medal. That alone would have been more than enough, but there was more to come. He was then the Best Overall Stallion, winning the Catchpole Trophy and the NPS Silver Medal, before finally being chosen as Reserve Supreme of Show. Certainly a day to remember for a long time!!
