We’re heading to Reading sales again this year not only to have a look around and meet friends but also with a two lovely ponies for sale.
Cliff and I have always been keen supporters of Reading sales, not only is it good shop window but a great meeting place. Thimbleby and Shorland need all the help they can get to continue running this annual sale with ever increasing pressure from the internet. We’ll be taking Snelsmore Paris (Lot No.119) and Cranford Cherry Blossom (Lot No.162), two lovely ponies that would be an asset to any stud. I’ve written a little bit about each pony below, however for full details, including more images, click on our ‘For Sale‘ page in the menu on the left.
Snelsmore Paris (LOT NO. 119)
Paris is a well marked two year old filly; her dam Liscombepark Lucinda is a winner here in the show ring at county level and has since been sold to Finland where she continues to be successful.
Her sire, Merrylees Satchmo, needs no introduction. He is a prolific sire of show winners in England and overseas.
Cranford Cherry Blossom (LOT NO. 162)
Cherry Blossom is a sweet little mare who has bred two foals for us at Snelsmore with no problems. Her palomino colt born this year is being retained. Cherry has been running with a young 30″ TT stallion Merrylees Talisman from July until recently in September, in which time we hope she has conceived a foal for 2015.
